Re-imagining such iconic characters in this style is a great idea; Bass was one of the first to use kinetic typography in film titles, perhaps most famously in North By Northwest. Making a title sequence is no mean feat, I can't think of many in films, but Bass manages it through great visual design closely ties to the driving score.
